Six month report on scrutiny published

11th March, 2012

Ross Willmott

Scrutiny has made a good start in the council, even though the new arrangements got off to a late start. The six month report shows that we have notched up some early successes. The first innovation was the publication of a  Scrutiny Handbook for the guidance of all members. We have had a significant impact on the budget and on the decision to keep our elderly persons homes, amongst many others. Please have a look at the report and if you have any questions do get in touch.

Many thanks to everyone who has contributed to the success of the new scrutiny arrangements in this initial period.
